The advent of edible cake lace has brought a whole new level of convenience to wedding cake decorating. While its customization options are limited, its quick and easy application makes it a no-brainer when it comes to commercial cake decorating.

This week we’re taking a look at some of the most elegant edible lace wedding cakes from top cake designers.
Exact tone-on-tone shades of ivory create a seamless blend between cake lace and frosting in this sugar rose and magnolia topped cake trimmed with antique gold sugar pearls by Sugar Couture Cupcakes and Cakes, above left.
