A freesia wedding cake makes a beautiful ode to spring for the bride who wants to celebrate the fresh, new beauty of the spring season in her choice of wedding cake design.
Hello Naomi created one our all time favourite wedding cakes in the exquisite lace design above dressed with pale green and white freesia blossoms – a study in simplicity, style and gracefulness.
The Dainty Baker also pairs sprays of freesia with lace in their wedding cake creation below with the softest of pale pink peonies adding to the pretty floral decor.

The natural trailing shape of freesia blooms is worked into a beautiful cascading bouquet of pink peonies in the design below by Fat Cakes Design – mirroring the shape of the organic, trailing bridal bouquet that is so on trend at the moment.
Sugar flower pefection is achieved by Jacqueline Butler of Petalsweet in her outstanding gumpaste freesia (below left), with a pretty mixed bouquet by Hilary Rose Cupcakes (right) featuring the gently arched shape of spring freesia flowers.
A loose organic styled bouquet is given a beautiful spring fragrance with sprays of freesia, also adding wonderful texture to the bouquet shape (image below by Vis Photography via Ruffled blog).

Spring white freesia with its touches of pale green makes one the most elegant floral adornments for a simple spring wedding cake with cakes by Erica O’Brien (below left) and Bobbette and Belle (below right).
A centrepiece pale pink/peach dahlia is framed with pretty freesia blossoms and one of two white lisianthus for a beautiful floral accompaniment to the divinely coloured pale green base tier with faded gold wash – a pastel beauty from Sugablossom Cakes.

Our final design below, T Bakes have used the natural shape of the freesia bloom to create a climbing floral effect in this cake top arrangement – the perfect botanical flourish for this beautifully frilled wedding cake.
