This “Happy Birthday” banner cake is a great birthday cake design – it’s super on-trend and yet it’s quick to create. Best of all, it still leaves room at the top of the cake for a candle, a number or name topper, plus the peach and pink tones work great togeather for a summer celebration.
The cake banner is made with pink sugarpaste squares with peach-coloured lettering, simply lined up in a garland design and attached with edible glue.
A double layer of peach ruffles is wrapped right around the bottom tier. It gives a lovely vintage finish to the cake, almost as if the layers are peeling away from the cake.
