The Pantone colour forecast for this year has nominated “serenity” one of the top two colours of 2016 and here at Cake Geek Magazine we’re definitely in agreement.
Powder blue has long been a favourite of ours, imbuing a sense of tranquility like no other colour. “Rose quartz” was named the second colour of 2016 and while pinks have always been popular with summer brides, we think this is the year of powder blue for the prettiest summer weddings.
Zoe Clark of the The Cake Parlour shows us why with her elegantly piped lace and classic monogrammed design above left. Rachelle’s Cakes pair pale blue with a contemporary piped leaf design, above right.
