With Easter coming up, we have bunny rabbits on the brain here at Cake Geek – but bunny rabbits also happens to be one of our favourite themes for childrens’ cakes. So we’ve put together a selection of the cutest little furry creatures we could find for today’s feature.
Emma Jayne Cake Design’s vintage teddy style bunny rabbit above is simply captivating in its detail and super realistic fur effects. Sitting on top of a superbly pretty soft pink cake, the little bunny even has the most magical little facial expression that’s sure enchant the lucky recipient.
Pavani Kaur of Firefly Cakes does vintage cake design like no other, including her super stylish little bunny cake below, dressed with ladylike sugar flowers and foliage for a super chic finish.
A bunny rabbit bride and groom decked out in period style costume make the most fabulous cake toppers for a Marie Antoinette inspired wedding cake (below right) by the ever imaginative Sweet Ruby Cakes, Australia.
Softly textured fondant adds wonderful authenticity to this bunny rabbit cake by Suzanne Esper Cakes (you can use “steel wool” to texture fondant to create a simple fur effect like this).
A simply crafted little rabbit works wonderfully with this chic and elegant little girl’s birthday cake (below left) created by Sweet Tiers, Australia. On the right, the innocence of this little baby rabbit is captured perfectly in a pretty pastel design by The Cupcakelicious.
A little party dress and floral hair accessories make this little bunny girl cake topper simply irrestible in a super cute design by Jorge Blanco of Sugar Couture Cupcakes & Cakes.
When it comes to creating the cutest baby animal cakes, Sheryl Bito of the Buns In The Oven Cupcakery is the go-to girl. A baby bunny, teddy and puppy all come together in a collage of cuteness in this ultra cute 1st birthday cake by Sheryl below.
A vintage fabric bunny and a pretty broderie anglaise-effect side design work beautifully in the design (below left) by Have Some Sugar, Portugal with matching sugar cookies. Aimee Jayne Cakes pair cute candy pink and white striping and quilting effects with a classic floppy bunny in their beautiful bunny cake below right.

Sharon Wee’s famous “Flyaway Bunny” below left has toured the world with Sharon in her international classes and is still a firm favourite gravity-defying cake amongst cake fans. On the right, Elizabeth Landers of Time for Tiffin creates her floppy bunny cake design in a beautiful pastel palette.
