While rustic style weddings are\u00a0hugely popular with summer brides, winter\u00a0is the perfect\u00a0season to host a rustic wedding\u00a0with\u00a0glowing candles, pine cones, log fires, red berries and winter foliage at your disposal to create that perfect rustic setting.<\/p>\n

The queen of British sugar floristry, Amy Swann<\/a> has created a magical winter wedding cake (above right) featuring a swirling cornucopia of winter delights – red berries, snowberries, sloes berries, silver foliage and\u00a0intertwining twigs.<\/p>\n

For a winter berry naked cake, a powdery dusting of icing sugar adds a simple fallen snow effect with two beautiful examples below, from French Made<\/a> (right) and via Pinterest (left).<\/p>\n

For a white-on-white rustic style wedding cake, Bumble Bee Cakes UK have a beautiful pearlised snowberry winter wedding cake design,\u00a0below left. Scottish cake designers, Happy Hills Cakes<\/a>\u00a0have also created\u00a0a unique\u00a0rustic, yet elegant winter twigs design (below right).<\/p>\n

If branches and twigs are a little too heavy for your winter wedding cake design, twisted hazel is a great alternative. The Pastry Studio<\/a> enhance their beautiful design (below right) with delicate white sugar blossoms added to twisted hazel stems.<\/p>\n
