Trends in wedding flowers have moved away from the tightly domed posies popular in the past few years in favour of more loosely tied mixed bouquets of garden style flowers. And accordingl, wedding cake decorating has followed suite with a more botanical style of sugar flower decoration featuring in the latest wedding cake collections of top designers.<\/p>\n

The UK’s Amy Swann<\/a>, has been to the fore of this trend in botanical style cake decorating, creating masterful wedding cakes such as the exquisite example above left.<\/p>\n

To the right, we have another beautiful example in the botanical style by The Graceful Baker<\/a> featuring fresh peonies and trailing stems arranged in an organic, natural style (via Peter Loves Jane).<\/a><\/p>\n

We have a second wonderful example from Amy Swann below left, a perfect late summer wedding cake for an English garden themed wedding, as well as a beautiful square botanical style wedding cake with summer blooms and swirling grasses by Cake Magic UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n
