Communion cakes and confirmation cakes are becoming more and more lavish as cake decorating art goes from strength to strength. But we have a selection of both decadent cakes and simpler styles to suit everyone’s taste and budget<\/p>\n

Communion cakes and confirmation cakes are a big part of the celebration of First Holy Communion and Confirmation – two of the biggest occasions in the lives of children of the Catholic faith world-wide.<\/p>\n

Indeed, little girls often endearingly see their First Holy Communion as a “mini wedding” because they also get to wear a pretty white dress!<\/p>\n

Sweet Bloom<\/a> in Australia create some of the most beautiful communion and confirmation cakes including the doile lace<\/a> design (above left). On the right, The White Cakery have created a lavish shell pink design with gilded silver details. Both cake designs would actually work great for a number of religious occasions including communion, confirmation or as a christening cake.<\/p>\n
