Communion cakes and confirmation cakes are a big part of the celebration of First Holy Communion and Confirmation – two of the biggest occasions in the lives of children of the Catholic faith world-wide.
Indeed, little girls often endearingly see their First Holy Communion as a “mini wedding” because they also get to wear a pretty white dress!
