With fashion week about to kick off in New York, Paris, London & Milan this month, we thought we’d have our own mini fashion week here at Cake Geek Magazine – but with fashion cakes, of course!
Make Me My Cake has created a fabulous homage to Dior in one of the most elegant fashion cake designs above left, perfectly encapsulating the designer’s timeless elegance.
On the right, Jacki Fanto of Blissfully Sweet Cakes has designed an exquisite confectionary tribute to fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn, capturing her immaculate sense of style perfectly in this artful design.
London cake couturier, Rachel Mount has been commissioned by Vogue Magazine on a number of occasions to create spectacular works of cake art to mark special events at the magazine and its sister publications, including Vogue Spain’s 20th anniversary, below left.
Cakes En Vogue have taken inspiration from the world of fashion amongst other source in their spectacular cake design, below right.
Vintage fashion is the inspiration for the collection of beautiful cookies below The Netherland’s, Muffin Mania.
The unique styling of the Roaring 20’s Jazz Age is recreated in the beautiful cake art of Natasha Collins of Nevie Pie Cakes, below.
