All Of The Most Gorgeous Graduation Cakes

A special graduation cake makes a beautiful confectionery tribute to the hard work and achievement of a new graduate. Graduation cakes are getting more and more popular each year and this week we have a selection of some of our favourites from top cake designers.

Our feature cake is by the Little Teacup Bakery, Toronto and features one of the coolest new cake design trends –  a chalkboard effect cake – perfectly apt for a new teacher’s graduation.

The traditional mortarboard worn for graduation ceremonies is given a beautiful feminine touch with shell pink icing, pearls and sugar flowers in the two pretty designs below by Sweet and Saucy (left) and by Jenna Rae Cakes (right).

Pretty bows and floral accents adorn the two glamorous graduation cake designs below from Patisserie Tillemont (below right) and via Pinterest (below left).

Pale blue icing and lace piping makes a chic and elegant graduation cake design below by Edible Essence Cake Art, Plymouth (left) and on the right, an elegant and cosmopolitan varsity style style graduation cake by Eat Cake Be Merry.

Estrele Cakes, Italy created this fun and funky polka dot and bow graduation cake for a stylish young graduate.

Mimicafe Union, New York, creates some of the most fabulous miniature cake toppers, including the characterful little owl graduates below.

Two great mortarboard graduation cakes below: The Violet Cake Shop have added a nice touch (below left) with the year of graduation on the mortarboard cake topper.  On the right,  Cake Styling, Germany have added a feminine touch with pearl beads and a draped fabric effect just under the mortarboard for an elegant young lady graduate.
