Teapot cakes have captured everybodies’ imagination this year so we’ve decided to follow-up on our earlier feature with all the latest fabulous designs. (For those who missed it, you’ll find Teapot Cakes Part 1 here, including some fab tutorials).
What’s more, if you’re taking part in MS Cake Break during the month of May, a teapot cake would make a perfect highlight for your afternoon tea party or work get-together.
Our feature cakes above by Make Fabulous Cakes (left) and by Cyril & Olive, Australia (right) feature gilded gold detailing for a true vintage china feel – perfect for a genteel afternoon tea party.
The marvellous teapot-topped creation below is based on an Alice In Wonderland theme and created by Kelly Mitchell of EventISS Wedding Cakes.
A superbly elegant cake belo as always from Sweet Bloom Cakes Australia – this time as a beautiful teapot cake, with matching rose cupcake.
Sandra Monger Cakes have created a beautiful teapot wedding cake design (below left, with Robin Pakes) and to the right, another superb teapot wedding cake vintage style by Katie’s Cupcakes.
For a more whimsical style party, Katie’s Cupcakes have created another teapot wedding cake, adorned with strings of vintage style bunting and tumbling vintage crockery. (You’ll find a tutorial on how to make a gumpaste tea cup in our feature on Teacup Cake Toppers).
Hong Kong’s Penney Pang Designer Cakes have created the two exquisite teapot cakes (below) as part of their wonderful cake collection.
Soft, muted shades of ivory and white make an elegant teapot cake for a special occasion by The Fabulous Cake Girls, San Diego (below left), with an exquistie shabby chic style teapot cake creation below right via Cake Baker UK.
The very talented Lynette Horner of Nice Icing features two amazing teapot tiered cakes in her collection, including the fabulous creation below. (The other you’ll find in Teapot Cakes, Part 1).
A vintage teapot adorned with floral details makes a beautiful tea party centrepiece including the pretty examples below left by Dessert Queen, Brisbane and below right, by The Cake Girls (for which you’ll find the full tutorial here: teapot cake tutorial).
We just love this navy blue polka-dot teapot cake from the UK’s Callicious Cakes, complete with edible tea cups, coffee mugs and sugar cubes.
A beautiful afternoon tea tray by Katy Bakey UK with teapot cake, edible cup and saucer, cupcakes and an edible plate of miniature pastries – a fabulous treat for someone special.
Our final teapot cake is a wonderful “Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” themed creation by the famed Alessandra Frisoni Cake Studio in a myriad of colours, perfect for a summer party.
