A super cute christening cake or baby cake is every decorator’s favourite cake to make. And baby teddies are one of the cutest cake themes of all. We’ve put together a selection of the most adorable baby cakes and naming day cakes to inspire your cake decorating for little ones.
When it comes to modelling teddy bears, Kelly Cope of Crafty Confections, Ireland makes some of the cutest sugar teddies you’ll ever see – and the most mischievous. Kelly has designed the adorable christening cake above, as well as the beautiful selection of christening cupcakes below.
Whether it’s hanging party bunting on their cakes, or sitting pretty with a flower and butterfly on their nose, Kelly gives each of her teddy creations a personality all of their own which makes her christening cakes irrestible. (Cake below also by Crafty Confections).

The beautiful “tatty” teddy christening cake below makes for an elaborate cake display for a little boy’s christening in a terrific design by Alessandra Frisoni.

Germany’s Alma Pasteles designed the exquisite little boy’s christening cake below left, complete with a dickie-bowed teddy bear. To the right, we have an adorable cake by Fiona Morrison Cake Craft of a baby boy hiding under a blanket.
